"I have used DHAC for many years and yesterday was the first time we have and any issues. I tried to schedule my PM that I had already been paid for and was told by Amy that I couldn't since it hadn't been six months yet. We had an issue with one of our units and she told me we would have to do this as a seperate call. Funny thing is that in yesterday's mail I received a post card telling me to go ahead and set up my PM??? I was also told by Amy that the tech would be at our house between 4-6:00. We came home to make sure that we were there and by 6:30 no one had called so I called Jeff Owen and he hadn't been notified of our appointment yet. He came anyway and arrived at 8:30PM."

"I had an air unit installed in April 2018. I have kept up with the maintenance. Per my last maintenance on 08/27/2019, after the technician left, the return air duct had came detached. I contacted the technician and he came back out to look at it and determined a "crew" would need to come out and re-attach. He called me with an outrageous quote of $800. This unit is barely over 2 years old. Being a valued customer, I shouldn't be charged and if anything NOT the amount quoted. In further inspection, it was determined the initial installers did not attach the return duct property. If it was attached properly, it wouldn't have detached so early after the install. I am utterly disappointed that I would have to get this repaired at my expense. This quote was done with pictures, without anyone from the "crew" coming out to inspect for themselves. I'm disappointed in the fact that this wasn't done correctly initially and as a consumer not knowing what to look for in an installation of this magnitude, I feel taken advantage of."

"There were some schedules issues and some miscommunication on the part being ordered, but once the job was completed, it was done well. However, the only outstanding issue I have, and it's not with the latest repair, is that during the "spring cleaning", the leaves were never cleaned out of the unit. I told this to the Operations Manager while scheduling the latest fan motor repair and he said he would have the next person out take a picture and if it showed the unit had indeed NOT been cleaned inside (including the leaves), he would send someone back out to properly clean the unit. Well, apparently the picture was not taken and/or provided to him because the inside of the unit is still dirty and contains the leaves. This is the first year the so called "cleaning" didn't seem to happen."

"The new unit was installed well and works fine however our drop down stairs were left damaged and no one has returned to repair, also the control panel on the wall was very poorly installed, its just hanging on the wall by the electric connections, no housing or secure case for it as well as there are now visible holes in the drywall surrounding it. The new unit also is not cooling one of the rooms sufficiently, a new vent should have probably been added to that room."

Cannot imagine that anyone would make that large a purchase without seeking bids from other companies. He was too high pressure for me. He could have come in and given me a quote in just a few minutes, but he probably stayed an hour which kept me from doing my work at home. don't ever send him back as far as I am concerned. Please do not send him back ever again. Chris is welcome, but not that guy. I am getting irritated again just thinking about him."

"This is NOT a reflection on the technician at all. He did a great job. When I called for an appointment I'd just gotten off the phone with the Metro Codes Administration and they told me to call a "reputable" HVAC company to come do a thorough exam of my system and ductwork for leaks. I explained what I needed when I called. I explained I'd just talked to Metro Codes. I explained that I'd need someone to look INSIDE my ductwork for leaks, which was behind a wall but I was told you had machines to look inside. that's what I requested. I didn't get any of that. The tech looked at my unit and then mentioned I could buy a $1300 UV light, which I may need to buy but that's still not addressing the issue of HOW the odor from next door is coming through my air vents."

"I give Tim, the technician, a 10 rating. He was great. I give a 2 rating to your weekend customer support team who takes messages and relay information to the technician. I had just returned from being out-of-town for a week. Needed to go shopping but couldn't as the technician was on-call and I couldn't get a 2-hour window. I really didn't care when the tech would come; I just want to know whether I had time to shop. Called back Customer Service and provided my cell phone number to be passed to the tech to call 30 minutes before arriving. However, the tech never got my cellphone number; he was given my landline number. Of course, the tech called while I was out and I got his message upon my return home. I called him back and he was able to come to my house and repair the issue. Again, I would've been happy to know for example, that the tech wouldn't be able to come for the next "X' number of hours."

Well that's not really my problem, as that's not how appointments work. I have a job, I work though the day, so I wasted a day off work or vacation day to have my maintenance that I pay for done and was asked "whats the rest of your week look like". Well, it looks like I have to work. As does everyone! Just poor management and poor service. They finally showed up at 6:35pm. Did the work but again wasted a whole day for nothing! Because you don't have enough tech to do the appointments. Since you run the service, you should be available at the correct times, not me adjusting to your schedule. It was just ridiculous to expect people to be there during the day or cancel 15 minutes before my appointment. You knew earlier that day or even the day before but waited until the last minute to call me. The customer service reps are rude."
